Live music this Thursday with King Louis and the Primas

15 April 2017

This Thursday the 20th of April we’ll be learning Frankie Manning’s version of the Shim Sham from 7:30pm!

The Shim Sham was originally created by Leonard Reed and Willie Bryant as a tap dance. Frankie adapted it for Lindy Hoppers during the swing revival in the late 1980’s.

This fun dance with funky jazz steps is suitable for all levels and performed on social dance floors around the world so is a really good one to add to your repertoire.

Then from 8:30-10:30, we’ll have social dancing to the wonderful sounds of King Louis and the Primas.

We’ll provide some nibbles, and you can also BYOB.

£4 for students/concessions/members

£5 for non-members
