Welcome to the Edinburgh Swing Dance Society website. ESDS are a non-profit making society dedicated to teaching and developing swing dancing around Scotland.
ESDS organise weekly classes in Lindy Hop, dance events and workshops featuring the best swing dance instructors from the UK, Europe and beyond.

Our classes continue with our normal schedule below. We’ve had a few enquiries about our next beginners’ block so just to remind you this begins on 25 February. So make sure you tell all those would be dancers you know!
Beginners' Class - 7.30pm
Stroll and Social Dancing - 8.30pm
Intermediates’ Class – 9.15pm
Cost: £4.50/£4 members/concessions for the whole evening

Christmas Party with Swing 2009 - 17th December 09 |

At the end of the Christmas term we normally have a Christmas Party and this year we thought it would be great to have live music. Therefore we have invited Swing 2009 to come along and help us celebrate the festive season!
Please tell all your friends and make sure they come along for a great evening of music and social dancing. You don't have to be a regular at ESDS classes just come along and dance.
The band are fantastic to dance to, they were "a-maz-ing" at the ELX Sunday Tea Dance.
The format of the evening will be:
Beginners' Class - from 7.30pm – 8.30pm
End of term party – 8.30pm - 10.00pm with live music from Swing 2009
Cost: £5 for the whole evening
Where: Stockbridge House, 2 Cheyne Street, Edinburgh, EH4 1JD.
We will provide water as always, but please note there is no bar so if you do wish to drink anything else then please BYO |
